School of Health Science, MFU Contributes as Speakers in Lessons Learned Session to Drive Food, Nutrition, and Youth Health Standards in Chiang Rai

On April 2, 2026, the School of Health Science, Mae Fah Luang University, represented by faculty members from the Public Health program, led by Asst.Prof.Dr.Peeradone Srichan, Asst.Prof.Anusorn Udplong, Asst.Prof. Ratipark Tamornpark, Ajarn. Thanatchaporn Mulikaburt, and Ajarn. Chalitar Chomchoei, participated as speakers and facilitators in a lessons learned session under the project on driving standards for food systems, nutrition, and the health of children and youth in educational institutions in Chiang Rai Province.

The project was organized by the Chiang Rai Provincial Public Health Office and held at Bussarakam Meeting Room, Wang Kham Hotel, Chiang Rai.

This meeting aimed to summarize operational outcomes and extract lessons learned, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and analysis of implementation results. The discussion also focused on strengthening provincial food strategies to promote appropriate dietary consumption and enhance the well-being of children and youth in a sustainable manner.

The participants included personnel from pilot schools, public health officers, and local administrative organizations within the project areas, totaling 50 participants. The session fostered a constructive atmosphere, encouraging knowledge sharing and generating practical recommendations for improving food and nutrition systems at the local level.
