เปิดบ้านต้อนรับ University of Oregon (USA) เชื่อมโยงเครือข่ายวิชาการ ยกระดับสาธารณสุขข้ามพรมแดนสู่ระดับสากล
สำนักวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง นำโดยคณะผู้บริหารและคณาจารย์ ร่วมให้การต้อนรับคณะคณาจารย์และนักศึกษาจาก University of Oregon สหรัฐอเมริกา ในโอกาสเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และประสบการณ์ด้านการบริหารจัดการสาธารณสุขข้ามพรมแดน (Cross-Border Public Health Management)
ระหว่างวันที่ 2-13 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง และพื้นที่การเรียนรู้ชายแดนในจังหวัดเชียงราย
กิจกรรมในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งในการดูแลสุขภาพประชากรในพื้นที่ชายแดนและอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มน้ำโขง โดยเน้นการแลกเปลี่ยนนวัตกรรมและงานวิจัยในประเด็นสำคัญ อาทิ การเฝ้าระวังโรคติดต่อข้ามพรมแดน ระบบสุขภาพสำหรับแรงงานเคลื่อนย้าย และความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศในการพัฒนาสาธารณสุข นอกจากนี้ยังมีการลงพื้นที่ศึกษาดูงานในบริบทจริง เพื่อวิเคราะห์ความท้าทายของการให้บริการสาธารณสุขในพื้นที่รอยต่อชายแดน
การร่วมมือกันในครั้งนี้ สะท้อนถึงบทบาทผู้นำของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ในฐานะสถาบันการศึกษาที่มีความเชี่ยวชาญระดับสูงด้านสาธารณสุขชายแดนและการพัฒนาอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มน้ำโขง พร้อมมุ่งมั่นสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระดับนานาชาติ เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตและสุขภาวะของประชากรข้ามพรมแดนอย่างยั่งยืน

MFU School of Health Science Welcomes University of Oregon for a Global Exchange on Border Public Health Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), led by the executives and faculty members of the School of Health Science, warmly welcomed faculty and students from the University of Oregon, USA, for an international knowledge exchange program.
The program, titled "Cross-Border Public Health Management," is taking place from February 2nd to 13th, 2026, at Mae Fah Luang University and various learning sites along the borders of Chiang Rai province.
Key Objectives and Activities: The main goal of this collaboration is to strengthen healthcare systems for populations in border areas and the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS). The program focuses on exchanging innovative ideas and research on critical issues, including:
• Disease surveillance and control across borders.
• Healthcare services for migrant workers.
• International cooperation for sustainable public health development.
In addition to classroom learning, participants will visit local border areas to study real-world contexts. This field study allows them to analyze the unique challenges and opportunities in providing healthcare services at international borders.
A Commitment to Global Health: This partnership highlights Mae Fah Luang University’s leadership as a center of excellence in border health and regional development. By building strong international networks, MFU continues its mission to improve the quality of life and health equity for all populations living across borders in a sustainable way.
