Thailand One Health University Network (THOHUN) hosted the workshop in Phusakthan Resort in Nakornnnok on February 27 and 28, 2023. The objective of the workshop was to create a web-based toolset for planning, designing, and evaluating competency-based education and training.
THOHUN had designed a workshop with faculty platforms for the development and evaluation of One Health skills for students and health practitioners at varying levels. The session covered informative design of competency-based education, faculty training on pedagogy and delivery methodologies for competency-based education, as well as several platforms for knowledge and skill development.
THOHUN merged prior platforms into a comprehensive web-based toolbox for planning, designing, and evaluating competency-based education and training throughout the event. Dr. Saharat Arreeras, a lecturer in the Occupational Health and Safety Program and a representative of the School of Management at Mae Fah Luang University, attended the workshop and gained valuable insights into the most recent advancements in competency-based education and training, as well as shared his expertise and knowledge with other participants.
